Job Description:
JOB OVERVIEWWe are looking for an intellectually curious and driven individual to join our FP&A and Operations Finance team and lead our Sales & Service Finance function. The group is responsible for informing company strategy, owning planning and forecasting, and performing financial analyses throughout the company to drive critical decision-making. This Manager level role will report to the VP of Finance for Ohmium and be the business partner to the Head of Services as well as the Chief Commercial Officer. This individual will also work directly with the CFO and CEO.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Key partner to Head of Services with primary goal of supporting short and long term strategy and driving the Services P&L to profitability.
2. Owns the Services P&L build out, partnering with organization to set targets, track performance against targets, and model implications for broader business model.
3. Provides financial analysis and insights to inform decision making including regional servicing strategy, offerings and pricing, CAPEX investments.
4. Partner with Sales organization to align on sales forecasting methodology and outline impact of new deal structures.
5. Create and manage short and longer term financial forecast for Sales & Services organizations.
6. Partners with Finance and Services, Sales leadership to prepare board materials, presentations, and monthly reporting
7. Develops metrics to track business unit-specific and company-wide trends, identify risks and opportunities, provide recommendations, and collaborate across all levels with a bias towards driving action
8. Enables an analytical, financial approach to influence strategic decision-making across the company
LOCATION, TRAVEL AND WORK ENVIRONMENT• Hybrid in-office and work remotely• Work location is the Ohmium US, CA (bay-area) office in Newark• Must be willing to occasionally interface with time different time zones such as India, EU
FORMAL EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS OR EQUIVALENT• Bachelor's degree required; business, accounting, finance, management, or economics preferred• Advanced business degree in finance, accounting, or management preferred

WORK EXPERIENCE• 5+ years of relevant experience in finance, including strategic planning and decision making, required• Engineering and/or engineering finance background preferred• Experience in the energy, industrial equipment, technology hardware, or manufacturing sector preferred• Previous experience working remotely a plus
SKILLS/ABILITIES• Proficient with MS Office including Excel, PowerPoint, and Office Suite• Strong foundation in corporate finance and proficient in GAAP• Proficient with accounting software, Dynamics and Business Central is a plus• Working experience with financial planning software• Demonstrated experience in modeling, analysis, and research• Past success leading teams, effectively working cross-functionally, demonstrating strong people skills, and consensus building• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORKFull time regular employee working at least forty (40) hours per week or such other time on weekends or evenings as is required.
