Design and produce specialized portfolio analyses aimed at informing decision-making processes within both local and Head Office forums, including exposure and credit quality concentrations, rating migration trends, new originations, and risk mitigation strategies. Identify and escalate internal and external alerts and limit breaches, per the Bank’s frameworks. Collaborate closely with and support stakeholders in developing and executing remediation plans, and in the annual recalibration of metrics to maintain alignment with organizational objectives. Oversee and ensure compliance by Credit Professionals with the clients review policy. Monitor the performance and usage of Risk Rating and Expected Loss Models, and use assessments for risk management strategies and portfolio optimization. Coordinate portfolio information gathering for regulatory, internal audit, and model risk management reviews. Develop and maintain analytic tools and databases to support robust portfolio analysis, comprising ensuring data accuracy, tracking performance metrics, and ensuring the reproducibility of presented information to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of decision-making processes.Requirements:Bachelor’s in Business, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science or Engineering (any field), plus 5 years of experience in the position offered or as a Validation Specialist or Model Validation Analyst role at an international bank.**All of the required experience must have included using quantitative techniques and mathematical modeling to validate complex risk models in the financial market; evaluating model methodologies, identifying weaknesses that may affect model accuracy; understanding financial markets, instruments and economic indicators to determine appropriate model, and using statistical analysis to evaluate model performance; programming in Python and VBA (Excel) for data analysis, model testing and process automation; working with structured databases (SQL or MS Access); developing comprehensive reports on validation process, result and recommendations; and working with different stakeholders to address concerns and implement improvements.This role entails hybrid work, with time split between working in our New York City office and flexibility to telecommute from another U.S. location.#LI-DNI
