Qualcomm Graphics Software Engineers architect, design, implement, verify, and optimize the structure and performance of GPU hardware, drivers, features, applications, and tools. Qualcomm Engineers collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet and exceed customer needs.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Game Rendering, or related work experience.OR Master's degree in Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Game Rendering, or related work experience.OR PhD in Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field.1+ year of academic and/or work experience with one or more programming languages suitable for graphics (e.g., C++, C).Required skills:Strong C/C++ programming skillsStrong knowledge of Machine Learning TheoryFamiliarity with a Deep Learning Framework such as PytorchFamiliarity with a GPGPU API such as CUDA or OpenCL.Understanding of data structures and algorithms, including object-oriented programmingExcellent interpersonal and analytical skills with the ability to work independentlyOptional, preferred skills:Device driver development, including GPU or CPUProgramming experience with Graphics APIs such as OpenGL ES/Vulkan/DX11/DX12Knowledge of GPGPU application development including Mathematical Operations and Image Processing.Exposure to Embedded systems and Real-time operating systemsExperience working with ARM architectureFamiliarity with Git or other SCM toolsTo all Staffing and Recruiting Agencies:

$116,900.00 - $175,300.00The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm.
