Qualcomm Graphics Software Engineers architect, design, implement, verify, and optimize the structure and performance of GPU hardware, drivers, features, applications, and tools. Qualcomm Engineers collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet and exceed customer needs.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field and 6+ years of Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Game Rendering, or related work experience.OR Master's degree in Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field and 5+ years of Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Game Rendering, or related work experience.OR PhD in Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field and 4+ years of Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Game Rendering, or related work experience.2+ years of work experience with one or more programming languages suitable for graphics (e.g., C++, C).Preferred Qualifications:12-15 years of experience in graphics APIs including DX11/DX12/Vulkan.Strong C++ Developer.Prior development experience in implementing/supporting Graphics drivers for standards (Direct3D, Vulkan). Strong debugging skills preferred.Experience working with software, hardware, and systems teams to develop/support compliant and optimized drivers for Adreno GPUs.Prior experience with state of the art rendering techniques including Ray Tracing/Mesh shading and other DX12.2 features.Performance profiling experience in DirectX/Vulkan games is preferred.Pay range:

$170,800.00 - $256,200.00The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted.
