Northrop Grumman Space Sector is seeking an

Industrial Security Manager 2

to join our team of diverse and qualified individuals within our Payload & Ground Systems Division Security organization. This leadership role is pivotal in ensuring the security of our operations and plays a significant part in shaping our future missions. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and collaborating with a team of security professionals located in

Fairfax, VA. This is an on-site and in-person position.

The

Industrial Security Manager 2

will serve as the Program Security Manager and oversee all security activities and operations, including guiding briefed/non-briefed personnel across all functions within the facility and interfacing with internal and external leadership personnel. The selected candidate will manage the Program Security Team at our Fairfax, VA, location and regularly collaborate with colleagues across multiple locations. They will ensure security compliance with government and company regulations and strive for excellence in executing security milestones in several security disciplines (DoD, SAP, & SCI). This position requires maintaining program security metrics and successfully managing competing priorities. The selected candidate will have the responsibility of developing and administering security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment, which will include, but are not limited to the following duties:

Studies and implements federal security regulations that apply to company operations

Obtains rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies

Prepares manuals outlining regulations, establishes procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and grants personnel and visitors access to restricted documents and materials

Develops and implements security education program. Oversees internal security audits. Investigates security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken

Provides direction to security team members to assist with executing their statement of work. Assist with team members' professional development and growth

Leading a team of security professionals to consistently apply the leadership characteristics expected of all employees within the organization

Ensuring employee engagement across the team

Collaboration across teams within the organization

Providing leadership, guidance, and professional development/mentoring to professionals at all levels

Developing and implementing security policy and standards across the program

Ensuring all program performance objectives, as well as key milestones and deliverables, are met

Manage program security compliance and operations across multiple functions- PHYSEC, COMSEC, PERSEC, Contract Security, Investigations and Document Control Management

Basic Qualifications:

Possess current and active

Top Secret

security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain SCI and SAP access

Eight years of related experience with a bachelor's degree or six years of related experience with a master's degree; additional years of experience may be considered in place of a degree

Minimum of two years of management, supervisor, or other demonstrated leadership experience

Must have in-depth knowledge and familiarity with the CFR 32 part 117 (NISPOM); Joint Air Force, Army and Navy (JAFAN), DoDM 5205.07, Intelligence Community Directives (ICD); DoD Manuals, and other related security requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

Active SCI access

Current Polygraph

Experience in managing Industrial Security programs and teams

Ability to execute Security and Program Management concepts

Ability to effectively engage with team members on task completion

Ability to recognize opportunities and take independent action to resolve challenges

Ability to collaborate effectively with security peers and program management team members and work on a team with minimal oversight

Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills. Enabling effective communication with team members, fellow employees, and government officials

Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to interact with internal/external customers

Salary Range:

$125,500 - $188,300

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
