You will help to improve operational efficiency by handling complex issues that remote teams cannot, preventing service bottlenecks. This ensures the company can meet diverse client needs and maintain high service quality.
Who You Are
A dynamic IT professional with:A Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent experience5+ year(s) supporting current windows server and desktop technologies, and client/server applications in a windows-based network environment. Specifics include:
Microsoft Windows Server (latest OS) and Exchange Online (or enterprise mail systems)Experience working with the O365 ecosystemAzure, Intune, Entra ecosystemActive Directory, Group PolicyAll current Microsoft Desktop Operating SystemsExperience with XenApp/RDS or other VDI technologiesExperience with Hypervisors (VMWare and Hyper-V)Experience with managing private and public DNS
Experience with LAN and WAN technology and firewalls required, including but not limited to

Extensive hands-on experience with Windows Server and Exchange Online, including maintenance and support.Microsoft Azure and/or Microsoft 365 certifiedA drive for continuous learning and development
Your Key Contributions and Responsibilities
We are seeking a self-starter with excellent customer service and communication skills:Support Microsoft Windows server and network technologiesInstall and support a wide range of PC and PC related applications, Windows and MacManagement and troubleshooting of on premise and cloud infrastructureInteract with users in-person daily on technology use, iVenture accepted practices and issue resolutionMaintain network configurations and assess and resolve network performance issues (internet bandwidth problems, ISP and firewall/router issues)Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 desktop and application supportOrganize and execute small-mid IT projects, ranging up to 20 hours per projectProduce, maintain and update technical documentation50% escalated desktop/app support, 30% Windows server support, 10% network support, and 5% admin/meetingsA Day in the LifeThis role is a blend of flexibility, technical expertise, and a strong customer focus. With a "can-do" attitude and team mentality, you will begin the day prepared to handle a variety of tasks, knowing that priorities can shift at any moment. Effective time management is crucial as you balance multiple responsibilities, all while maintaining clear communication and delivering high-quality service – listening to clients’ needs and providing thoughtful, effective support to ensure client satisfaction.When faced with complex issues, you follow proper escalation procedures to ensure a smooth resolution and you have a drive and motivation to learn and grow, constantly seeking ways to improve your skills and knowledge.Given the need for on-site client visits, you require a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Smoking is prohibited at all client sites and iVenture offices.
