This Distributed Computer Systems Analyst position is in the Information Technology (IT) Unit in the Office of the Attorney General in Tallahassee, Florida.Pay:
$46,000.00 - $48,000.00 AnnuallyQualifications:A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and two years of experience in computer systems analysis, computer programming or in planning or designing distributed computer systems; orA bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course of study in one of the computer sciences or in management information systems and one year experience in computer systems analysis, computer programming or in planning or designing distributed computer systems; orA master's degree from an accredited college or university with major course of study in one of the computer sciences or in management information systems; orThree (3) years of experience as described above and either (1) completion of a 1440 classroom hour program of study from a vocational/technical school or accredited community college in an area of data processing (excluding data entry), or (2) 60 semester or 90 quarter hours of college course work from an accredited institution which includes four courses in computer science or management information systems.Experience as described above can be substituted on a year-for-year basis for the required college education.Completion of a one (1) year program of study from a vocational/technical school in an area of data processing (excluding data entry) can substitute for one (1) year of the required experience.The Work You Will Do:
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following:Knowledge of methods, techniques, and skills necessary for the performance of the job and demonstrate the ability to execute all assigned duties and tasks effectively and efficiently.Responsible for installation, support, maintenance, repair, and standardization of network equipment, including desktops, network printers, TCPIP and Microsoft networking configuration.Troubleshooting and maintenance of applications at the desktop level.Support of hardware interfaced with OAG developed applications for the purpose of e-discovery or document management.Implement upgrades agency wide as required.Other related duties as required.The Benefits of Working for the State of Florida:
