The Rental Sales Team Member is responsible for all aspects of rentals to include strollers / ECV’s, wheelchairs, lockers, etc. This includes safety, friendliness, cleanliness and line speed within assigned areas. To support the Merchandise division.

Summary of Major Duties & Responsibilities

Greet guests and initiate friendly interaction. Provide Guest excellence which exceeds expectations, answer questions, and provide park information.

Effectively perform the rentals of ECVs, Wheelchairs, Strollers, and Lockers to include all sales functions, rental agreements, refunds, and exchanges.

Retrieve daily online sales report and reserve rental equipment.

Verbally instruct Guests on ECV operational instructions.

Assist in the daily operation of morning set-up to include pulling the rental equipment for display, clipboards with rental agreements, and have on hand disability guides.

Effectively perform cash handling procedures for the daily locker rentals and key deposits.

Assist in the evening maintenance of the rental equipment to include cleaning and stacking strollers.

Maintain a sense of urgency towards area of operation to reduce the guest wait time.

Maintain a dependable work attendance and flexibility with assigned work schedules.

Attend all required training and meetings.

Complete required paperwork in a timely manner.

Maintain confidentiality at all times.

Follow all safety standards to include reporting any violation of standards.

Able to maintain a good personal hygiene and report in a clean costume.

Able to get along with other employees to work out problems and resolve conflicts. (Able to work cooperatively with others.)

Able to comprehend instructions and retain information.

Ability to move about and react quickly in emergency situations.

Able to maintain dependable work attendance and flexibility with assigned work schedules including any required overtime, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Able to endure the pressure of job responsibilities and serious consequences of making an error.

Ability to operate a fire extinguisher.

Ability to endure detergents and chemicals used in the course of daily operations.

Able to be flexible to handle frequent changes in priorities.

Able to prioritize tasks and complete assignments on time.

Able to report to work without being under the influence of or smelling of alcohol.

Able to speak clearly in order to operate a two-way radio.

Must be willing to perform other work functions as assigned.

Able to work outdoors.

Required Experience

Must be at least 16 years of age.

Must know the safety critical standards.

Ability to read/write, comprehend instructions and communicate in English.

Ability to use basic math skills to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.

Must be able to operate a cash register, phone equipment, credit card machine, receipt printer, and calculator.

Must successfully complete a post-employment offer background check and drug screen.

Excellent verbal communicator – accurate, consistent, and detailed.
