DESCRIPTION OF WORK In this position the Clerical Assistant 2 is responsible to independently determines the appropriate person, area, and method of responding to a variety of inquiries and ensuring written messages are delivered promptly. Types and distributes a variety of correspondence based on the type of document and work unit process required. Inputs information into appropriate departmental systems such as but not limited to SAP, ESS, and Micro Soft Office.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week. Work hours are 8:00am to 4:30pm, Monday - Friday, with a 1-hour lunch. Overtime and dual shifts may be required during winter operations. Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $35,306 (before taxes). REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (commonwealth title); or Graduation from high school; or An equivalent combination of experience and training. Additional Requirements: One year or more of experience in the clerical field. One year or more of experience using Microsoft Office products. Two years or more of customer service experience including answering incoming telephone calls, re-routing calls as a switchboard operator, or speaking with customers and/or employees that come into the office.
