DESCRIPTION OF WORK In this position the Clerical Assistant 2 will coordinate the day-to-day operations within the Construction Division for the ADE-Construction, Assistants to ADE-Construction, Finals Unit, Geotechnical Unit and Materials Unit (Ex. typing, filing, faxing, answering the phone, copying, etc.). Duties include the preparation and distribution of various reports using a personal computer; log and track responses to external customer complaints and inquiries; log and track construction Clearance Transmittal Reviews as required; and use electronic mail for communication to Harrisburg and District staff.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week. Work hours are 7:30am to 4:00pm, Monday - Friday, with a 1-hour lunch. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Hollidaysburg. Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $35,306 (before taxes). REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (commonwealth title); or Graduation from high school; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.
