We are seeking an Assistant Controller with strong accounting and analytical expertise, particularly with NetSuite,. The ideal applicant will showcase excellent problem-solving abilities, exceptional organizational skills, adaptability, and a genuine enthusiasm for new challenges. Additionally, strong communication and time management skills are essential, along with experience in account maintenance, financial reporting, funds management, and tax preparation.

Responsibilities
Assist in managing an efficient month end closeReview of journal entries and accounting team reconciliationsOversee international division interface with NetSuite and ensuring compliance with US GAAPManage external auditor relationships to facilitate completion of audit procedures in a timely and efficient mannerEstablish, implement, manage, and monitor critical accounting and reporting policies, processes and internal controlsMaintain current knowledge of organizational policies and procedures and current accounting standardsProvide direction and assistance to other organizational units regarding accounting policies, procedures and efficient control and utilization of financial resourcesManage and advise global accounting teamManage Company insurance contractsOversee accounting for Company investmentsRequirements
Active CPA preferred, experience working at global accounting firm5 years of public accounting experienceBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldCurrent or recent experience leading Accounting processes for a global company10+ years' progressive experience - combined public & private experience preferred4+ years managing and developing staff/leadership experience, supervising all aspects of month end GL close and financial statement preparationExperience preparing for and managing auditsExperience working in accordance to US GAAPExperience in Asset Purchase and AcquisitionsAbility to successfully participate in and lead projects involving cross-functional teamsAbility to problem solve and build successful client relationshipsExperience developing and executing internal control policies, guidelines, and procedures for various activitiesStrong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and then implement solutionsAbility to consider the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate oneProficiency in accounting software, business intelligence and data analysis software, financial analysis software, and ERP applications such as NetSuite, Excel, Concur, ADP or similar software
A plus if:Prior work experience at a company with an entrepreneurial mindsetProficiency in Google Workspace, Confluence, Jira a plus
$175,000 - $215,000 a year
