Our client is currently seeking a HR Manager for their manufacturing facility in Kansas City MO.This is a Union facility and the HR Manager needs some previous Union experience.This position will have 1 Direct Report HR Coordinator in the support of about 100-110 employees.The HR Manager will help meet the goals and objectives of the organization by maintaining, supporting and enhancing the organization's talent, culture and functional excellence, while building a strong partnership with the business leaders. This job will have the following responsibilities:
Responsible for Talent Acquisition, Onboarding, and Retention while following all Federal, Local and Company requirements Responsible along with leadership team for all Employee relations Train site leadership on HR systems and practices Oversee the execution of the Performance Management Process Provide input to and support Total Rewards, Compensation and Benefit ProgramsIdentify training and development opportunities and support the implementation of improvement plans through coaching and feedbackEnsure HR systems maintain integrity and data accuracy Support the culture and core values, drive engagement and overall positive employee experience through strong change management and communication
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or Organizational Development 5 years HR experience in a manufacturing organization. SHRM / PHR certifications a plus. Solid working knowledge of HR processes and related manufacturing.Union Experience needed
