Job Title: Administrative Assistant

$20 - $24 per hour

Temporary 6+ months (Long-Term)
Hours per week:
35 hours
LHH is currently partnering with a nonprofit association in the Washington, DC area looking to bring on an Administrative Assistant for a long term 6+ month contract position. The role is 5 days a week onsite and will pay between $21-$24 based on experience. Experience utilizing MS office suite with strong experience in Excel is required. This position will begin ASAP. Key Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support to senior management and staff.
Organize and maintain files and records.
Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
Draft, format, and edit documents, presentations, and marketing materials using Adobe InDesign.
Handle correspondence and communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Assist with project coordination and special assignments as needed.
Perform general office duties such as ordering supplies and managing office equipment.
Requirements:
Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant or in a similar role.
Proficiency in Adobe InDesign and other Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A proactive and positive attitude with problem-solving skills.
High school diploma or equivalent; Associates or Bachelors degree preferred.
