This position will improve IT systems across all business units; improve productivity and information flow throughout the Company; assist the IT team to keep the systems functioning in an orderly manner; act as senior programmer / analyst for IT applications; assist users through computer related issues.Essential Functions

Work safely. Adhere to all Company and regulatory EH&S policies and procedures.Adhere to all Company 6-S initiatives and policies.Identify and solve problems for the programmers and system users.Write, test, debug, and document application programs.Train users in methods and capabilities of on-line applications and software.Assist in training of new IT personnel.Keep informed with current IT technologies, specifically that which relates to the Company’s requirements and equipment.Accept after hour phone calls in emergency situations.Assist in program management and issue resolution to avoid service interruption.Assist in management of changes to all software, data tables and network configurations for IT applications.Assist in user administration including: new user set-up, maintain security levels, user profiles and termination of user privileges.Assist in vital record management including data storage, back-up, and recovery procedures.Work with vendors to support additional software applications as needed: LIMS, ABS, shop floor data collection.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications

Education and Experience

Four-year degree in Computer Information Systems or a related field of study, and a minimum of three (3) years of programmer/analyst experience.Skills

Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.Excellent oral and written communications skills including the ability to interface with all levels of the organization.Instructional skills – ability to teach others.Adaptability – open to new methods and changes in technology to address work related issues or problems.Proficient using Superlayer / ProIV programming language.Familiar with Microsoft Office products.Drive and initiative.Expertise using Glovia / G2, Syteline, LIMs and other ERP, MES and QMS systems.Detail oriented.Ability to comprehend a variety of complex problems, collect data and translate information into a user-friendly application program.Familiarity with MS SQL server administrations: (database, backup, restore, archiving, and security).Familiarity with SQL programming.Power BI Report administration.Working knowledge of Microsoft Integration Services.Ability to write and maintain Powershell Scripts.Additional Notes

Must be able to frequently remain in a stationary position.
