Job Duties :
Deliver solutions to the Oracle customer base while serving as an advocate for customer needs. Offer strategic technical support to assure the highest level of customer satisfaction. Create/utilize automated technology and instrumentation to diagnose, document, and resolve/avoid customer issues. Serve as an expert member of the technical problem solving/problem avoidance team, routinely sought after to address extremely complex, critical customer issues. May telecommute. (385.33398)
Employer will accept a Bachelor's* degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field and seven years of experience in job offered or in a technical analyst-related occupation.
*In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, employer will accept 2 years of work experience.
Position requires:
Oracle DBA;
Replication products including GoldenGate, AQ, and Streams;
Database performance tuning;
Non-Oracle Database platforms including
Postgres, MySQL, DB2, and MS SQL Server;
OS platforms including Windows, Solaris, Unix, and AIX; and
Oracle database upgrades and migrations.
