With a team of over 150 SAP professionals, we offer an outstanding chance to drive excellence and foster innovation.As the Functional Analyst SAP Finance, you will improve and align our financial systems with strategic objectives. You'll take charge of optimizing our SAP solutions, covering the complete development lifecycle—from requirements gathering to implementation—ensuring the financial systems support our operations optimally.POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES:Develop and refine SAP FICO configuration and ABAP development, ensuring they are balanced, meet business needs, align with architectural standards, and optimize operations.Perform all tasks in the development cycle, including accurate business process definition, configuration and unit testing, user testing assistance and follow-up, coordination of transports to Production, training, post-live support, and fixes.Support the development of the test strategy and test plans. Ensure traceability of requirements back to business need as well as through to solution and testing. Validate the solution meets the business need and verify it conforms to specifications.Coordinate with diverse groups to conduct blueprinting, requirement analysis, impact assessment, product demonstration and training workshops. Encourage and support teamwork and information exchange across teams.Capture and document non-functional requirements that are important to the user community (i.e. usability, learnability, reliability). Liaise with architecture to ensure other non-functional requirements are considered (i.e. security, compatibility, maintainability).Participate in the On-Call support rotation for SAP production environment.POSITION REQUIREMENTS:Hold a post-secondary education (degree or diploma) in Accounting, Finance, MBA Finance, CA, or a related field.5 years + related experience, including systems/applications development and support, business systems analysis, and systems project management, of which 3+ years’ experience is directly related to implementation and support of SAP Enterprise systems, specifically the FICO modules.Knowledge of SAP product module/suite business processes, navigation mechanics, and configuration requirements and integration with other modules and SAP's Business Intelligence.Familiar with ABAP development.Knowledge and experience in SAP S/4HANA is an asset.WHAT CPKC HAS TO OFFER:Flexible and competitive benefits package.Competitive company pension and/or retirement plans.Employee Share Purchase Plan.Performance Incentive Program.Annual Fitness Subsidy.ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:As an employer with North American presence, the possibility does exist that the location of your position may be changed based on organizational requirements.Drug Test Elements:CPKC is committed to the safety and health of its employees and the general public.
