The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated team player looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity within a dynamic and progressive firm. The successful individual will work closely with our business development team and other discipline leads in developing technical proposals and will take a proactive role in marketing/business development. This role provides the opportunity to help build and mentor a dedicated team of engineering professionals within a collaborative multidiscipline office. We are seeking innovative, results-oriented individuals who value high standards of performance and collaborative teamwork.Requirements Include:Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Mechanical Engineering or a related field from an accredited college or university.Registration as a Professional Engineer (P.E.) (required).10+ years of engineering work experience including:Designing HVAC and plumbing systemsManaging and designing multiple concurrent projectsStrong ability to interpret technical drawingsLeading design team effortsManaging project team for budget and schedule controlExperience with Load Calculation SoftwareWorking knowledge of REVIT and CADDeveloping fee and qualification-based proposalsLocal AHJ experience and relationships is a plusActive local industry involvement is a plusFamiliarity with relevant codes: mechanical, energy, plumbing and ensure design conforms with all applicable codes and client standardsReading and preparing project drawings including ductwork plans, piping plans, sections, isometric piping drawings, and bills of materials.Perform HVAC calculations and analysis using standard industry programsEnergy modeling experience is a plusExceptional written and verbal communication skills.Excellent time management skills.Ability to lead inter-disciplinary projects and project teams.Ability to travel periodically.
