We seek individuals that share our passion for excellence.Business Unit/Department: Skid Technologies Location: Lawrence, PAJob Summary: The Manufacturing Manager for Skid Technologies plays a critical role in ensuring successful customer outcomes by leading the daily operations of the business unit. This position is responsible for overseeing the entire fabrication process, allocating resources effectively to ensure that customer projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. As a leader on the shop floor, you will guide a team of skilled fabricators, providing the necessary training, support, and leadership to drive optimal performance and productivity.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Promote a culture of safety, quality, and productivity on the shop floor to ensure a secure and efficient work environmentManage day-to-day operations by developing resource allocation plans that ensure projects are delivered on time and within budgetLead and develop the manufacturing team, including skilled trades and project engineering resources, to drive performance and collaborationResponsible for interviewing, selecting, and hiring new hourly team members to ensure a skilled and reliable workforceFoster a culture that supports positive customer relations and outcomes by delivering employee feedback and evaluating the effectiveness and efficiency of the groupIdentify and drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes, improve efficiency, and elevate qualitySupport organizational growth strategies, helping scale the business to meet future demands and opportunities RequirementsThe Ideal Candidate: Will hold a 4-year engineering degree or have equivalent industry experienceMust have experience in managing Manufacturing operations, preferably in an Engineered-to-Order or complex heavy manufacturing environmentMust understand and have experience teaching and implementing LEAN Manufacturing principlesMust possess strong critical thinking skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectivelyHas excellent communication and interpersonal skills and can convey instructions clearly and conciselyShould possess strong organizational and time management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlinesMust be able to demonstrate a commitment to safety and quality controlMust have the flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends as needed Core Competencies: WORK COLLABORATIVELY - Promote an inclusive and positive work environment that encourages collaboration and team building across all levels of the organization.
