Senior Grant Accountant (Federal Grant)

Senior Grant Accountant - Hybrid

$90,000/yr.-$95,000/yr.

Responsibilities:

Maintains ledger accounts with a primary focus on pre- and post- award grant accounting for Federal and State of New Jersey awarded grants

Responsible for ensuring compliance with funders’ administrative guidelines

Monitor the status of grant programs

Preparing grant budgets for proposals

Journal entries and account reconciliation

Financial statements

General ledger data entry

Prepares and/or reviews assigned areas of annual budget.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting

A minimum of 4 or more years of accounting experience with a focus in Grant Accounting

Must have experience with Federal/State Grants

Excellent communication skills

Prior hospital or healthcare experience a plus

Prior grant accounting is a must

Prior experience with PeopleSoft Financial and budget software a plus
