We are seeking an experienced professional to join our Finance team as a Data Analytics and Solutions Lead with a focus in client billing and sales compensation area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analytics, process improvement, and project management. The role requires close partnership with cross-functional teams, including Client Teams, Legal, Finance, Operations, and Technology.
Key Responsibilities
Utilize advanced data analytics techniques on billing and compensation data to identify trends and insights
Deliver data driven recommendations to inform strategic decision-making on enhancements and new operating models
Document and articulate complex client billing and sales compensation processes clearly
Identify opportunities to streamline processes and implement best practices while enhancing commercial outcomes
Lead initiatives to drive technology-enabled process optimization and automation
Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement
Take ownership of projects from inception to completion
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals
Monitor project progress and report on key metric
Responsible for stakeholder management and communications around project status
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
7-10 years of experience, preferably within the asset management industry.
Strong project management and process improvement skills
Experience working on and managing cross-functional projects
Basic accounting experience preferred.
Advanced proficiency in data analytics tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, SQL, Tableau) and project management tools
Ability to work with large data sets and complex formulas
Familiarity with billing software and financial systems
Experience with AI / machine learning tools is a plus, enabling the candidate to leverage cutting-edge technologies for process innovation and efficiency gains
High level of independence and self-motivation
Ability to work creatively, strategically, and analytically to problem-solve
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to distill complex concepts into digestible pieces
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines
Compensation Details
The salary range for this role is $140,000-$160,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in New York City. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. This job is also eligible for a discretionary bonus. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), life insurance and other benefits to eligible employees.
Note: No amount of pay is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable.
