Summary of Position
A Financial Planner is the cornerstone of the wealth management relationship and must demonstrate a broad base of knowledge across all client related services including investments, insurance, retirement analysis, taxation and estate planning. The FP supports and manages assigned client relationships. A successful FP is comfortable working with clients, with an emphasis on ability to communicate concepts and address client needs. Organization skills and attention to detail are critical given the nature of sophisticated planning, documentation, and execution processes. You can think creatively, strategically, tactically, and independently and can identify appropriate solutions for each client's situation.
The FP works under the direction of the firm principals and senior planners to ensure that a consistent message and exemplary level of care are provided to our valued clients in a team-oriented fashion. By working with our valued clients, the FP focuses on revenue producing activities, making constant and observable contributions to the growth and development of the firm, ensuring new and current clients are provided the best possible service. #LI-Onsite
Financial Planning and Investment ProcessGather, enter and analyze all necessary financial plan client data, independently and with teamPrepare preliminary agendas for client meetings and complete final review of all meeting materialsDevelop and present financial plans, investment advice, risk management recommendations to client situations and following our planning processes and methodology for assigned client baseMaintain regular involvement in client's financial planning dashboard (eMoney) and investment strategy and provide appropriate actions regarding changes to client situations, goals and needs relative to investment strategyProvide ongoing client support as requested including regular performance reporting and annual plan updatesReview all client insurance coverage and present recommendations to assigned client basePerform scheduled client review meetings to identify planning needs and opportunitiesAnalyze new insurance products and strategies for possible incorporation into our product offeringsCollaborate with clients' other professional advisors to deliver thoughtful and holistic advice, recommendations and serviceWork with the team to refine our policies and procedures, focusing on efficient operations and client service, especially with regards to the financial planning processProvide training and mentoring to team members, as needed, in areas of financial planning and strategy executionClient Services
Under the supervision of the firm principals and/or senior planners, conduct client meetings independently, including client review, analysis and presentation of financial planning, insurance and investment recommendations for assigned client baseBe the primary contact for assigned client relationshipsCoordinate with support team members to direct the elements of the Total Client ExperienceCommunicate with assigned clients to provide advice / recommendationsSupport senior planners, as directed or neededWhat You'll Bring
4- Bachelor's degree requiredCFP® designation preferredSeries 7 and 66 license and applicable state licensesMinimum 5 years financial planning experience requiredExperience using eMoney financial planning softwareExperience of Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, and PowerPointStrong math and analytical skillsOral, written and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to maintain confidentiality and integrityEnergetic, eager to learn, willing to work togetherWhat We Offer
