Receptionist - Administrative Assistant

is to answer and route telephone calls, manage our front desk on a daily basis, and perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks.

Typical Duties and ResponsibilitiesAnswer, screen, route, and log incoming phone callsReceive and welcome visitors by greeting, directing and announcing them appropriatelyReceive, sort and distribute daily mail and deliveriesEnsure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms and brochures)Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling visitor accessOrder office supplies and keep inventory of stockUpdate calendars and schedule meetingsArrange travel and accommodations as requiredPerform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, copying, and scanningAdhere to applicable company and regulatory agency environmental, health and safety standards

QualificationsAssociate degree and three (3) years secretarial or equivalent job experienceKnowledge of administrative and clerical proceduresProficient in MS Office and other relevant software applicationsKnowledge of customer service principles and practiceAbility to answer multi-line phone system
