First United Bank & Trust / Durant, OK & Plano, TX/ Financial Analyst II. Duties: Responsible for analyzing & reviewing financial projects that primarily focus on increasing bank efficiency & profitability; developing & maintaining reporting models, including branch reports, branch level board reports, community bank & bank budget model & process improving & automation; preparing & delivering executive weekly, monthly, & quarterly management reports; performing work on assigned projects daily, primarily dealing with increasing bank profitability & efficiency; reviewing & analyzing financial statements & other business-related reports to provide insight to bank presidents on their performance; reviewing & analyzing upcoming changes in market trends & bank regulations & policies; assessing performance & suitability of models by evaluating their mathematical theory & construct, & analyzing relevance of assumptions, accuracy of data & calculations; aggregating & analyzing recommendations as well as identifying possible trends & risks; performing budgeting & forecasting for bank & community branches; administering Precision Lender; administering Financial Modeling database; building models & other forecasting tools for use by other employees & departments; performing other duties as requested by Executive Management team or Supervisor; completing all required compliance exams on yearly basis; generating solutions to problems & suggests alternative solutions when necessary; & performing as contributor in Bank-wide projects. Must have bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or closely related field, or foreign equivalent along with 2 years of banking industry experience or, in alternative, master's degree in Finance or closely related field where coursework included multiple courses related to banking. Additionally, strong knowledge of accounting & financial statements; identifiable work or academic experience in Advanced Visualization Tools & Database Management with SQL & at least three of following software packages: Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, & Power Point; identifiable work or academic experience showing advanced proficiency with MS Excel; identifiable work or academic experience in Advanced Financial Modeling; identifiable work or academic experience in time-series analysis, comparable analysis, what-if analysis, & cost driver analysis; identifiable work or academic experience requiring maintaining high level of data & reporting integrity; identifiable work or academic experience in understanding & use of return on investment, net present value, internal rate of return, & short & long-term CAPEX planning & cashflow is required for position. Expected to work two days per week in Plano, Texas, office, & one day per week in Durant, Oklahoma, office. Remote work permitted two days per week.
