Kistler is making an important contribution to the further development of electrified drive technology, automated and connected driving, emission reduction, and smart factories.As a Sales and Application Engineer - Industrial Production, the primary objective is to drive sales within the Automotive Production & General Industry sector in the defined territory of Texas and the Southern Region. This role focuses on engaging Tier I and II Automotive OEMs, targeting key customers.Promptly respond to technical inquiries, price requests, delivery timelines, and service inquiries from customers.Offer expert guidance on the optimal application of company products within the Automotive Production & General Industry sector.Collaborate with the Sales Manager to develop and execute a tailored sales strategy aimed at penetrating Tier I and II Automotive OEMs and OEM and Tier companies within the territory.Identify emerging application opportunities and unique market demands, liaising with the Sales Manager and Application Experts to deliver specialized solutions.Stay abreast of the latest developments in Industrial Production products and applications to provide informed support to customers.Prepare accurate and competitive price quotations and project proposals, ensuring alignment with customer needs and company objectives.Actively participate in industry events such as exhibitions, conferences, and association meetings to promote company products and foster new business opportunities.Provide on-site support to customers, including product installation and training for engineers and technicians, to ensure successful implementation and utilization of Kistler products.Showcase expertise at trade shows to effectively market Kistler products and attract potential customers.Cultivate strong relationships with customers to gain insights into their product requirements and preferences, facilitating personalized service and support.Minimum Requirements:Bachelor's degree in an appropriate engineering discipline from an accredited four-year college.Minimum of 5+ years of technical sales experience.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.Ability to lift 50 pounds.Available to travel 60% of the time by car, with occasional airline travel and international trips for training.Preferred Requirements:Experience in the application of force, pressure, and torque transducers, as well as associated electronics, software, and controls in manufacturing processes.Strong knowledge of electro-mechanical systems and assembly operations.At Kistler, your experience and expertise are valued and promoted.
