This position will be in the Colorado Springs, CO, area or Schriever Space Force Base, Colorado Springs, CO.Position Overview:

As the Engineering Technical Authority for JEMINI C2BMC, you will be crucial in our technical, cost, and schedule performance. Your domain expertise will inform concepts, theories, and development for Global C2BMC missions. You will act independently, ensuring that research, development, and technical insertion inform and satisfy C2BMC Global Mission objectives. Your collaboration with program management and business development will drive C2BMC's growth and position C2BMC Global for growth opportunities. You will be the primary technical interface between C2BMC Global and the C2BMC Chief Engineers Office, demonstrating our value in your expertise and contribution.Broad background in all lifecycle phases of systems engineering with a strong customer focus and proven ability to shape customer expectations. Travel will be required between C2BMC Development sites and possibly to testing and operational sites.Essential Functions:

Demonstrated interpersonal and team-building skills, strong work ethic, and self-motivation.Demonstrated experience in driving data-informed change to improve affordability and quality.Knowledge of emerging system engineering practices (digital engineering) and experience in adopting and implementing key practices.Ability to direct and oversee engineers supporting multiple projects in several technical disciplines.Responsible for collaboration across the entire C2BMC enterprise, including Agile Release Trains (ART) and Resource Managed Areas (RMA) for resource planning.Responsible for all engineering efforts related to C2BMC Global execution & proposal development.Responsible for C2BMC Global requirements and system design baseline.Responsible for tracking and delivering Incentive Fee capabilities and meeting key milestones.Responsible for technical execution aligned with cost, schedule, and performance constraints at acceptable risk level.Collaborates with the Government to develop the 1-N feature list based on the backlog and to include a definition of acceptance criteria.Responsible for the Segment Development Plan (SDP), identifying and managing Risks and Opportunities, and ensuring program plans and technical baselines are consistent with the C2BMC program and Modern Engineering Practices.Basic Qualifications:

Please note your updated security clearance and IAT/relevant certifications on your resume, if applicable.An active TS/SCI clearance is required to start with MDA SCI and cleared for access to Special Access Programs (SAP).14 Years with a Bachelor's degree in a related field; 12 years with a Master's degree.Operational experience with Department of Defense (DoD) systems.Experience and familiarity with the MDA and Space customers.Experience in cost estimating and creating Basis of Estimates (BOEs).Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM).Strong risk management experience.What We Can Offer You:

$166,500 - $249,700The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
