Summary / Role Purpose

The Supervisor, Ansys Government Initiatives ("AGI") Facilities provides onsite oversight of local facilities in Exton, PA and the supervision of the facility support staff and contractors. As Security Program Manager, this role will also fulfill the obligations of the Deputy Facility Security Office ("DFSO") as a member of the AGI Industrial Security Team. This role will work closely with the AGI Facility Security Officer ("FSO") and Senior Management Officer ("SMO") to assist with the proper administration of physical-security protocols in accordance with the NISPOM Rule and assist in ensuring general NISPOM Rule compliance. In addition, the Supervisor will also coordinate physical security measures in partnership with corporate Ansys facilities management.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Assist in developing and implementing Exton site security policies and proceduresOversee physical security measures, including surveillance, access control, and emergency responseConduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilitiesSupervise the mail room, receptionists, and other support staff to ensure smooth operationsCoordinate with external agencies such as law enforcement and emergency servicesOversee contractors supporting facility-related functions (security, food services, maintenance, etc.)Coordinate maintenance and repair work as neededSupport the management of security-related documentation and maintain detailed logs and recordsProvide training and guidance to staff on security protocols and procedures, including NISPOM Rules and Insider ThreatsRespond to security incidents and emergencies and partner with our Ethics and Compliance function to conduct investigations as necessaryAssist in personnel security clearance administrative duties such as initiating investigations and sending/receiving VARsIn support of the FSO, ensure compliance with all relevant security regulations and standards

Minimum Education/Certification Requirements and Experience

Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experienceStrong knowledge of security protocols and proceduresProven experience in facilities managementExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsHigh level of personal integrity and professional judgmentAccustomed to handling confidential matters with appropriate sensitivityAbility and willingness to secure US DoD (preferably TS/SCI) security clearance

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a teamA certificate for FSO program management for possessing facilitiesPossession of US DoD (preferably TS/SCI) security clearance is preferred
