Role:

Delmock Technologies, Inc. is seeking a skilled Security Architect to enhance the Master e-File (MeF) system in alignment with the IRS's future state architecture. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for all security-related decisions.

Key responsibilities include proactively addressing security vulnerabilities found through scanning reports, making strategic recommendations to improve the MeF DevSecOps maturity, and providing guidance for the Portal that hosts various MeF applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security architecture, a deep understanding of federal security standards, and excellent communication skills to collaborate with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

Develop and extend MeF security solution architectures.

Provide recommendations/architectural options and solutions, especially related to security for migrating MeF to containers and to the Cloud.

Coordinate team activities related to security vulnerability remediation and responding to customer requests.

Attend meetings and provide recommendations related to the Portal within which MeF applications run.

Maintain and/or create contractual deliverables in accordance with IRS templates – estimated.

Provide LoE estimates for Impact Assessments and VROMs.

Provide recommendations for implementing DevSecOps practices on MeF.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.

CISSP Certification.

Eight (8) years of experience developing, in collaboration with stakeholders, including customers, partners, project teams, and vendors, security architectures for large, complex programs.

Eight (8) years of experience in leading team(s) of architects and/or developers.

Five (5) years of experience developing security architecture for applications running in the Cloud.

Five (5) years of experience developing security architecture for applications running in containers.

Four (4) years of experience with the following:

Developing security solutions for AWS GovCloud.

Microservices security.

Architecting Spring Boot applications.

Enhancement of Portal architecture.

Developing DevSecOps solutions on complex projects.

Working within the Linux platform.

CM tools, such as IBM Engineering Workflow Management (EWM) and Git SCM.

Three (3) years of experience developing (V)ROM estimates in response to requests for new work.

Preferred/Nice to Have Skills:

Experience developing requirements and architecting solutions for monitoring.

Experience with relational database technologies.

Experience with CMMI Level 3 Process Areas.

Experience with Agile Lean methodologies.

Experience with Azure cloud for government and Google cloud for government.

Experience with WebMethods, ESB, API Gateways, Event Driven Architecture, and Kafka.

Experience with Ping Identity.
