Role:Delmock Technologies, Inc. is seeking an Infrastructure Architect to support The Internal Revenue Service in leading a team of architects to evolve the Modernized e-File infrastructure architecture in alignment with the IRS future state architecture, reviewing and approving infrastructure requirements, developing and maintaining infrastructure architecture artifacts and documentation in accordance with IRS document templates, providing direction for moving MeF to containers and the Cloud, and making recommendations for increasing MeF DevSecOps maturity.
Responsibilities:
Develops and extends Modernized e-File infrastructure solution architectures.
Provides recommendations on architectural options and solutions for migrating MeF to containers and the Cloud.
Manages a team of three senior infrastructure architects and coordinates team activities.
Provides LOE estimates for Impact Assessments and VROMs.
Provides recommendations for implementing DevSecOps practices on MeF.
Minimum Requirements:
Ten (10) years of developing infrastructure architectures for large, complex programs in collaboration with stakeholders, including customers, partners, project teams, and vendors.
Five (5) years of experience in leading team(s) of architects and/or developers.
Four years (4) of experience maintaining infrastructure requirements and traceability against business and application requirements for large, complex Java EE applications.
Four years (4) of experience migrating applications to the cloud.
Four (4) years of experience supporting the migration of monolithic applications to microservices.
Four (4) years of experience with the Linux platform.
Four (4) years of experience with server and network virtualization.
Four (4) years of experience with information security for large, extremely sensitive Java applications.
Four (4) years of experience with CM tools, such as IBM Engineering Workflow Management (EWM) and Git SCM.
Three years of experience developing (V)ROM estimates in response to requests for new work.
Three (3) years of experience with infrastructure products, including JBoss EAP, WebSphere Application Server, and IBM MQ.
Two (2) years of experience in implementing DevSecOps on complex projects.
MS Office Proficiency, including Excel and Word.
Engineering Workflow Management (EWM).
Clearance: Must have a current IRS MBI (Minimum Background Investigation).
Education and Certifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher.
Preferred/Nice to Have Skills:
Experience with relational database technologies.
Experience with CMMI Level 3 Process Areas.
Experience with Agile Lean methodologies.
Experience with IaC tools such as Puppet/Chef/Ansible.
Experience with WebMethods EAIB, API Gateways, and ESB.
Experience with Ping Identity.
