We are a trusted partner-driven by doing the right thing and achieving maximum success for our customers, our partners and ourselves.Kratos has a great opportunity for a System Administrator Release Engineer.The ideal candidate provides highly visible customer support through the performance of on-site installation, as well as overseeing any necessary diagnoses, troubleshooting, service, and repair of complex equipment and systems. Checks out and approves operational quality of system equipment. Instructs customers in the operation and maintenance of the system. Serves as company liaison with customer on administrative and technical matters for assigned projects. Interprets customers’ needs and clarifies if the responsibility for problem resolution falls to sales personnel, customer support reps, or engineers. This job may include any aspect of field support, and is not limited to system hardware and software, PCs, and networking/wireless networking.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Security software implementationSystem hardware/software integrationSystem documentation updatesExperience and Skills:Required Skills/Experience:6+ years’ administration experienceExperience in administration across multiple disciplinesBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, System Engineering or engineering equivalentFamiliarity with modern IT infrastructure capabilities to include virtualization, cloud deployment and containerizationSecret clearance required with the ability to obtain TS/SCISelf-motivated and comfortable with supporting multiple groups of developers, engineers, and testersArticulate technical concepts orally and in written forms both internally to the team as well as externally to the customer and usersDesired Skills/Experience:Experience with satellite ground systemsExperience with SATCOM mission planningExperience with LinuxExperience with OracleExperience with VMWareExperience with SecDevOps processes and related Agile practicesSecurity+ or better certificationCompetitive salary based on experience and education:
