Job Description:

ECS is seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead a large Cyber Security Program in support of our National Security client. The scope of the program includes end-to-end systems engineering program services to build, operate and maintain an operational cyber system. This position is located in Fairfax, VA with the option for routine remote work. In this role, you will lead a team of 80 management and IT professionals in the delivery and transition of technical services. The Senior Program Manager is responsible for all aspects of program oversight and program delivery, including operational management of the program team consisting of ECS employees, subcontract staff, and expert product consultants as well as the successful execution of all technical, schedule, cost, and quality performance of this program. Further, the Senior Program Manager will be responsible for overseeing the successful execution of a Transition Strategy, to close out work on the subject task order and transition work and staff to another ECS program. The ideal candidate is a fast learner, who thrives in a fast-paced dynamic IT systems and mission environment. We are seeking an accomplished, dynamic and creative leader, with experience successfully managing and expanding high impact cyber programs within growth-oriented environment. The role requires superior employee management and customer skills, from delivery to business development. Your ability to develop and maintain credibility and trust and establishing yourself and the team as trusted advisors across the various customer groups will be critical to your success.

Required Skills:

15 years of progressive and broad Federal systems Program Management experience inclusive of:

Experience successfully managing the full lifecycle of high visibility, high impact Cyber Security projects, including Project Transition (Transition In and Transition Out).Experience successfully managing programs of 60 personnel, managing Federal enterprise-level IT deployments and operations.Demonstrated success managing cross-functional, matrixed teams to affectively achieve project outcomes in a dynamic, agile environment.Superior interpersonal, communication, presentation, and writing skills and expertise working directly with executive and senior-level federal clients.Proven ability to effectively manage multiple work streams, competing requirements and multiple schedules and to facilitate coordination and reconciliation between different stakeholders with the aim of delivering a comprehensive solution that exceeds expectations.Demonstrated ability to establish relationships and grow business within a dynamic customer environment.A demonstrated aptitude for complex problem solving, and leading teams to success.

PMP certification.Ability to acquire DHS EOD.Desired Skills:

Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Certification.SAFe Certification and experience.Experience in product release planning and management.Experience managing DHS Programs.
