Job Summary:

The primary role of the Contract Manufacturing - Sourcing Specialist is to support the sourcing activities of contract manufacturing goods and services. This role is responsible for the ordering, invoicing and supplier performance process. This position is a key driver in ensuring orders are fulfilled on time and meeting specifications, while minimizing costs & waste. The Specialist has oversight regarding the supplier selection, relationships with suppliers and is responsible for commercial aspects including contracts and supplier performance management. The Specialist is also responsible for implementing strategic initiatives and sourcing strategies to promote innovation, reduce waste, improve value, ensure, and maintain sources of supply.

Buy/CollaborateExecute on sourcing and procurement forecasts for all contract manufacturing events.Manage sourcing and procurement schedule of all contract manufacturing events.Manage supplier orders for criteria such as on-time delivery, at the agreed-upon costs, with the correct specifications per contractual agreements.Develop and maintain sourcing policies in conjunction with planning, manufacturing operations and commercial teams, including lead times, order quantities, and campaign or production strategy.Collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure the goods are managed according to constraints and targets are aligned with the business strategy.Work with Project Lifecycle Management team to launch new products with new or current suppliersOnboard new contract manufacturing suppliers including orientation to TFE systems and processesAnalyze/Problem Solve

Identify and resolve any supply constraints, and work with internal stakeholders and suppliers for possible solutions.Identify action items, organize resources to address action items and follow up on all supply-related issues to full resolution.Resolve conflict around supplier issues, involving internal stakeholders as necessary, for any underperforming suppliers.Work with internal resources to resolve variances.Continuous Improvement

Assist with sourcing new suppliers for current or future contract manufacturing activitiesAnalyze sourcing processes to determine how to better manage order placement, improve governance, reduce waste, and/or optimize customer service.Implement select improvements to sourcing systems and processes with the guidance of the manager and other stakeholders.Monitor/Track/Measure/Report

Monitor and track goods and services.Measure, analyze and report key process metrics.Ensure all supplier metrics are met.Develop and govern monthly metrics to measure compliance to contract terms & supplier agreements.Ensure all internal sourcing and procurement metrics are met.Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain/Procurement, Business, or Management preferred.Years of Experience: 1-3 years of procurement or customer service related experienceAbilities to create and maintain cross-functional partnerships on a daily basisIntermediate computer skills in MS Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, Project and Visio. Experience with SAP and MRP systems a plus.Must be able to work to meet deadlines on multiple tasks at any one timeExcellent communication (written and verbal) and training skillsStrong analytical and problem solving skills. Able to create decision making tools utilizing Pivot tables or Power Bi.Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, observational skills, documentation skills, and follow-throughExperience with SAP & Lean Methodology and tools is a plusAttention to details and deadlines with a strong ability to follow through with minimal directionWorking Conditions:

Salary Range:

$76,300.00 - $114,400.00

The starting pay will be based on several factors, including but not limited to experience, training, education, and geographic location. We also provide a 401(k) plan where TFE may make a discretionary profit-sharing contribution.
