About the Position

We are looking for a Coordinator to lead the day-to-day operations and event logistics at Chase Center, Thrive City and offsite locations. In this role, you will plan and execute Golden State Warriors brand events, community events, large and small-scale private events, hospitality events and concert VIP activations. You will lead also front and back of house activities and support the logistical and functional needs of the Events department, Golden State Warriors and Valkyries, promoters, internal departments, production companies, and service providers, among others. This position will report to the Director, Events.

This is a full-time position based onsite in San Francisco, CA.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as primary contact for assigned events; assist in the development and execution of events (e.g., Golden State Warriors and Valkyries events, private and community events, concert VIP activations, internal events, etc.)Lead site visits and event planning meetings with internal and external clientsCompile and communicate all pre and post-event related information; prepare and distribute event notes to appropriate departments, vendors, and others to ensure necessary levels of staffing coverage and overall event understandingCoordinate all logistics related to the planning and execution of assigned events, including venue procurement, budget management, and onsite logistics (i.e., event staff, site inspections, operations plans, required permit requests, security procurement and coordination with clients, vendors and communication with Warriors staff as needed, etc.)Accurately prepare event estimates in conjunction with the contractual obligations for each eventEnsure all required permits are secured for events as required by local law/ordinance; maintain close working relationship with San Francisco Fire, Buildings, and Health DepartmentsMonitor events to ensure all building rules, policies, and safety procedures are being adhered to and enforced during events.Serve as primary liaison between clients and venue departments to ensure successful eventsRegularly attend event planning meetings and walk throughs to ensure all departments receive pertinent information to appropriately prepare for upcoming eventsUse AutoCAD to build event layouts that comply with client and building/city regulationsOther duties as assignedRequired Experience & SkillsBachelor's degree or equivalent work experience1-2 years experience planning and executing events; experience in the hospitality industry with a focus on large corporate and hospitality events is a plusProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with AutoCAD preferredAbility to be creative and seek proactive solutions to complex problems and situationsExcellent written and verbal communication, customer service, attention to detail and resolution skillsAbility to build positive working relationships with clients and peers at all levels within the organizationAbility to prioritize and balance multiple projects in a fast-paced work environmentTime CommitmentAbility to work flexible and sometimes demanding schedules (including nights, weekend, and holidays)Compensation$26.00 - 28.00 + BonusComprehensive Medical, Dental and Vision benefits for employees and dependentsEmployer 401K matchVacation, Summer Half-Day Fridays and a generous paid time off plan for pregnancy and parental leavesWarriors home tickets, team store discount and more!
