Job Title: Sr. Director of Supply Chain
Job Description:
Directs and coordinates the procurement, planning and distribution activities of all raw materials used in truck, parts and service production. Responsible for achieving inventory turnover objectives, supply chain OTD, inbound and outbound logistics at budgeted levels.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND ACTIVITIES:Analyzes market and delivery conditions to determine the best strategy for procurement, distribution, and management of raw materials based on present and future material availability.Establish supply chain key metrics to drive performance improvement with partners; recommend and implement changes as needed to ensure business objectives are met.Responsible for improving Inventory Control accuracy by reducing adjustments to the perpetual inventory in a quantifiable manner.Implementation of an operational improvement plan managing material storage in a method that identifies a place for all WIP, purchase parts, and inventory storage.Implement a strategic plan to support working capital and inventory turnover targets at best-in-class levels.Oversee Purchasing functions; implement improvement plans to achieve annualized cost reduction targets in line with JBPCO efforts to establish LCC partnerships.Material Planning with respect to time and efficiency improvements; initiate a collaborative effort to achieve business metrics by improving pitch route efficiency and an improved value stream.Supports and participates in Morgan Olson's PPS team.Adheres to Quality Policy by exceeding customer expectations, being customer focused and supporting continuous improvement activities.Adheres to Safety Policies and practices behavioral based safety 100% of the time.Other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS:
BS Management / Industrial Management plus 5 years work experience in materials, warehousing and inventory management.Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skillsProficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.Working knowledge of MRP systems (JDE)
