Founded in 2014 and headquartered in the Pacific Northwest, Sedron Technologies designs, manufactures, installs, and operates advanced water and waste upcycling technologies. With a focus on transforming the paradigm from waste processing to resource recovery, Sedron Technologies works with municipal, agricultural, and industrial customers to process their "waste" into climate-smart commodities through environmentally and financially sustainable methods. Available Shifts:Nights: Monday-Thursday, 5:00pm - 5:30amSwing: Monday-Thursday, 12:00pm -10:30pmBecause we design, build, commission, and operate our technologies, we are looking for individuals who can meet the following essential functions of the positionMonitor and evaluate the status of equipment and control systems for abnormalities, inefficiencies, unsafe conditions, etc. Oversee cold startup of plant equipment and processes through steady-state operation, as well as return plant equipment and processes to operating status following shutdowns, power outages, etc.Keep work records and contribute to reports for regulatory and contractual complianceReport potential or actual problems and make recommendations as to appropriate actionCollect samples, perform plant control and/or lab tests, and record resultsEnter, maintain, and extract information from various computer software programs such as the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)Assist maintenance team with repairs during breakdowns or scheduled maintenance Operate equipment such as cranes, forklifts, man lifts, and scissors lifts Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals; a certain degree of creativity and latitude is required; must be mechanically inclinedPrioritize duties and responsibilities in order to fulfill objectivesDemonstrate the ability to work individually and within a multidisciplinary team, communicating and collaborating with technicians and engineers alikeComply with all safety, 5S, and HazMat practicesWork well under pressure, meeting and completing multiple deadlinesDemonstrate cooperative behavior with colleagues and supervisorsDemonstrate passion and excitement for solving difficult yet exciting tasksArrive to work on time and maintain good attendanceMaintain good organization skillsAbility to work rotating shifts, overnights, weekends, holidays, and overtime, as neededPerform other related duties as assigned BENEFITS Medical, dental, vision insurance and 401k with employer matching Paid time off and paid holidays (including 2 floating holidays) Disability Insurance as well as Life/AD&D Insurance FSA (Flexible Spending Account) and HSA (Health Savings Account) Tuition reimbursement Casual work attire EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE Industrial Maintenance and Mechatronics or similar technical degrees are preferredThree or more years of experience in industrial maintenance preferred, background in similar work experience will be considered Must understand hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systemsSome maintenance or mechanical experience preferredMust be familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field Minimum requirement for all positions is a high school diploma or GEDMust have effective verbal and written communication skills in the English languagADDITIONAL INFORMATION Compensation range for this role is between $28.00-$38.00/hourlyThe range provided is Sedron's estimate of the base compensation for this role. Actual amount offered will be based on job-related and non-discriminatory factors such as experience, location, education, training, skills, and abilities.Discretionary bonusEmployees can also receive additional pay for off-shifts, off-site work, and access payMust be a US Citizen or legal permanent resident for this position.
