Description
The Clinical Supervisor is licensed as a BH professional with the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners. This position provides supervision and oversight of programs within the Blake Behavioral Health program including training and supervision of Behavioral Health Clinicians and others providing clinical services for children birth to 17, their families, and adults.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (with or without accommodation):
Oversee provision of clinical services ensuring that they are in compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.Interview, hire, train, supervise and support clinical staff including Behavioral Health Professionals (BHP) and Behavioral Health Technicians (BHT).Provide regularly scheduled administrative, clinical and reflective supervision individually and in a group setting for other BHPs and BHTs, as necessary.Monitor quality of work and provide feedback to BHPs and BHTs through audits, reviews and regular supervision.Provide assessment and clinical evaluation as needed for children and families with complex mental health needs.Coordinate service provision and collaboration with community partners.Coordinate clinical services for children and families referred to BBH.Attend required trainings per contractual agreements.Facilitate staff meetings to disseminate information, oversight, and case presentations.Develop and provide trainings as deemed necessary.Maintain compliance with the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners (AZBBHE) requirements for professional disciplines.Maintain confidentiality of client and staff information.Participate in management team activities.Adhere to and promote others adhering to all program, operational and personnel policies and procedures.Screens, evaluates and schedules referred members who may need behavioral health services.In conjunction with clinical staff, develops and monitors, and signs member service plans and assessments.Assists members in securing necessary behavioral health services from EBF or other appropriate providers.May oversee or conduct updates on annual assessments and develop treatment plans as determined by the Director and EBF policies.May provide individual, family, and/or group counseling based on needs as determined by the Clinical Director and EBF policies.Oversees the coordination with the treatment team, facilitates Child and Family Team and Adult Recovery Team meetings to review progress/barriers and determine appropriateness of services and medical necessity of services.Attends and participates in all professional meetings and clinical staffing.Oversees the maintenance of member records in accordance with agency and funding source requirements.Performs crisis intervention and solution-focused interventions including approving and signing risk assessments.Participates in ongoing program planning and development.Ensures services are provided in a culturally competent manner.Adheres to all EBF policies, procedures and protocols in addition to AHCCCS regulations.May facilitate or participate in individual or group skills training as determined by the assigned director.Any other duties as assigned.
