Position Summary

In support of the Executive VP for Operations and Business Affairs, this administrative professional will serve as a proactive problem solver and conscientious gate keeper. The executive administrative assistant will manage Executive VP for Operations and Business Affairs time and prioritize, heavy calendar activities, internal meeting planning, international and domestic travel, and expenses. Need poise, sophistication and polish to deal with internal and external stakeholders, senior academic and administrative executives. Must be able to anticipate new ways to add efficiencies. Confidentiality and discretion is essential.

Performs a variety of administrative duties with wide latitude for exercising discretion and judgment.

Receives and answers correspondence both in the name of the incumbent and in the name of the Executive VP for Operations and Business Affairs.

May coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements.

Arranges for and schedules appointment for the Executive VP for Operations and Business Affairs, including interviewing callers and making proper referrals; supervises the preparation of materials for meetings.

Manages the maintenance of the Executive VP for Operations and Business Affairs calendar and ensures appropriate preparation for daily activities.

Assist with management of daily operation of the Executive VP for Operations and Business Affairs by assisting in developing administrative goals and priorities for long-range strategic planning, communicating, implementing, interpreting and revising policies and procedures as appropriate.

Performs other duties, responsibilities, or special projects as needed for the Executive VP for Operations and Business Affairs.

Minimum Qualifications

Associate’s Degree required; Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred. In lieu of educational requirements, experience may be substituted on a year for year basis

3 years related experience.

Positions in this classification may require the ability to type or keyboard 60 accurate words per minute.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, communications or a related field from a regionally accredited college or university.

Previous C-Suite experience is preferred.

It is MSM’s Immunization policy that all Prospective Employees are required to provide proof that they are vaccinated against COVID -19 prior to commencement of employment. If employment will commence during Flu Season, MSM requires all individuals to provide proof that they are vaccinated against Seasonal Influenza for the current Flu Season, unless granted an exemption. Failure to provide proof of vaccination for any required vaccines or obtain an exemption from MSM will result in rescission of a candidate’s offer of employment or disciplinary action up to and including termination.
