Description
Responsibilities and Duties
Create and maintain the standard cost system for inventory component items;
Analyze purchase price variances and operational efficiency (scrap) performance and assist plant management to identify improvement targets;
Evaluate, report, and present reports on product line and customer profitability;
Track, analyze, and report on inventory management, including disposals;
Support physical inventories through variance analysis and internal audit presence;
Analyze cycle count variances and determine root cause;
Provide general ledger support as part of standard monthly procedure;
Perform month-end balance sheet account reconciliations as appropriate;
Perform ad-hoc analysis through research to support finance function, including supporting schedules for internal and external reporting requirements;
Skills and Qualifications
2+ years’ experience in cost accounting;
2+ years’ experience in manufacturing;
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field;
Bilingual Spanish speaking preferred
Must possess strong analytical skills;
Competency with Microsoft Office and Advanced Excel functions;
Strong communication skills, both verbally and written.
