Serving the residents of Warren, Butler, and Southern Montgomery counties for over 40 years.

Kettering Health Miamisburg, formerly Sycamore Medical Center, is a full-service hospital located minutes west of the Dayton Mall on Miamisburg-Centerville Road off I-75 in Miamisburg, Ohio.

The cornerstone services for KH Miamisburg have been Bariatric surgeries and Orthopedic care.

Expanded services include emergency care, sleep center, mammography, breast MRI, cardiac catheterization lab, wound center and DEXA scanning.

142 bed facility

Awarded with 100 Top Hospital by IBM Watson Health for the 10th time in 2019.

In 2020, KH Miamisburg received an “A” from the Leapfrog Group, a national patient safety watchdog, ranking among the safest hospitals in the United States.

Responsibilities & RequirementsRequires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a multidisciplinary setting.

Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Requires 5 years of experience in acute patient care or Inpatient Hospital Coding.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills to maintain good rapport with physicians, hospital administration, nurses and other healthcare team members.

Ability to prioritize.

Computer skills related to data entry, management, retrieval and presentation.

Familiarity with process improvement principles and the application preferred.

Knowledge and application of federal, state, HFAP and quality improvement regulations.

Knowledge and experience with EPIC, 3M and Microsoft office preferred.

Ability to accept responsibility, analyze problems, evaluate reports and make decisions and recommendations required.

Ability to demonstrate initiative and good judgment in a self-directed role.

Must be flexible and able to manage job functions despite shifting priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

Graduate of accredited nursing program or Associate's Degree or higher in related health field. RHIA, BSN, RHIT or RN required.
