Our client (financial services firm), is seeking an experienced technical support engineer to join their IT team to provide essential technical support for an active trading environment.
The right candidate will have the opportunity to work on implementing and maintaining the systems and applications used directly by end-users, while working closely with other teams to address their technology needs. Your support will be instrumental in adopting cutting-edge technologies and managing a highly reliable infrastructure.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree, ideally in Management Information Systems or Computer Science2-4 years of progressive experience in IT support and implementation of end-user systems in an enterprise environmentProficient in Microsoft Operating Systems, Active Directory, EntraID, GPO, Office 365, Windows Operating Systems, Exchange, and cybersecurityExperience in supporting MDM/MAM solutionsExperience with VOIP and SIP video conferencing technologiesWillingness to be on-call during nights and weekends, with occasional light travelKnowledge of desktop and server hardware, including performance optimizationBasic understanding of IP networking, routing, and system securityAbility to install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software, and management toolsExperience using PowerShell for system managementExcellent written and verbal communication skills with strong customer service experienceProven ability to create technical documentationMust be physically capable of lifting and carrying computers and related equipment weighing up to 50 lbs
