This position is responsible forobtaining rooming lists, transportation, meeting room coordination and coordinating with billing and credit. memories that they will carry with them far beyond their stay with us.THE DAY-TO-DAY:Work independently and without supervision to ensure that all program requirements and client requests are met to the highest standardsCollaborate directly with clients and internal departments to coordinate various functions, including transportation, guest accommodations, meetings, pre-planning, limousine services, amenities, site inspections, billing, Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), and room diagramsServe as the primary communication link between clients and all property departments, both during the pre-planning phase and on-siteBuild and maintain strong working relationships with all support departments to guarantee a successful event for our customersTake accountability for the overall success of multiple conventions simultaneouslyPerform other job-related duties as assignedTHE IDEAL CANDIDATE:Three (3) years of experience in Hospitality, Event Planning, Food and Beverage, and/or Hotel OperationsHigh school diploma, GED or educational equivalent, Bachelor's preferredMust be able to work various shifts, including weekends and all holidaysProficiency in fundamental mathematical skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and money handlingKnowledgeable of Front Desk and/or Convention Reservations proceduresAbility to read and write proficiently to evaluate reports, correspondence and statistical informationExperience with Microsoft Suite, Opera, Amadaus, and DelphiExceptional customer service and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively, both verbally and written, with all stakeholdersTHE PERKS & BENEFITS:Health & Income Protection benefits (for eligible employees)Professional and personal development opportunities through employee programs and network groupsWellness incentive programs to help you stay healthy physically and mentallyFree meals in our Mandalay Bay employee dining roomFree parking on and off-shift at all MGM Resorts propertiesAccess to company hotel, food and beverage, retail, and entertainment discounts
