Our Kennesaw campus is located at 1000 Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144. Our Marietta campus is located at 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060.
Department Information
DEPARTMENT SPECIFIC TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Serves as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, complaints, and service requests related to Campus Operations2. Monitors customer service interactions and provides feedback to staff to improve service quality.3. Utilizes customer feedback to inform continuous improvement initiatives.4. Oversees the management of the facilities email and service portal, including tracking and resolving service requests as applicable5. Keeps the KSU community informed about ongoing projects, event disruptions, scheduled maintenance, and any service disruptions through clear and timely communications6. Assists with office management, including administrative and clerical duties as needed
Job Summary
Responsible for the management of administrative staff and support functions of the department. May provide executive leadership support. Provides guidance and decision-making to address administrative needs, collaborating with a team to meet those needs. Manages purchasing and budget-related processes. Develops and maintains office procedures, ensuring adherence to applicable policies and regulations.
Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Supervises assigned staff to ensure administrative support across departments2. Manages administrative support within the department, including hiring, performance management, workload distribution adjustments, ensuring adequate departmental support, and managing attendance and time approval.3. Refines office procedures to ensure compliance with USG policies and procedures and develops documents for new administrative procedures4. Ensures effective communication standards are maintained within the department including the establishment of meeting and communication guidelines.5. Manages purchasing and budget-related transactions, including monitoring and documenting purchases, validating Purchasing Card (Pcard) forms, processing travel requests and reports, and other related transactions.6. Provides administrative support for assigned leaders and departments as needed
Required Qualifications
Educational RequirementsBachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.
Required ExperienceFive (5) years of related work experience including a minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Educational QualificationsAn advanced degree from an accredited institution of higher education in a related field
Preferred ExperiencePrevious experience providing administrative support at an institution of higher learning
