As the General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving profitability while maintaining a positive work environment for staff.
Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations of the restaurant or food service establishment to ensure high standards of quality and service.
Manage staff training and development programs to enhance team performance and promote career growth.
Implement effective shift management practices to optimize staffing levels and improve efficiency.
Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control measures.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations as well as company policies.
Foster a positive work culture that encourages teamwork, communication, and employee engagement.
Develop and execute marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback to enhance overall guest experience.
Collaborate with culinary teams to ensure menu offerings meet quality standards and customer preferences.
Requirements
Proven experience in restaurant management or food service management roles.
Strong knowledge of shift management practices.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train staff effectively.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
A passion for delivering outstanding customer service and maintaining high operational standards.
