General Manager

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in restaurant or hospitality management, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills and a commitment to delivering outstanding service. This role involves managing staff, ensuring operational efficiency, and maintaining high standards of food quality and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Manage all aspects of restaurant operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house activities. Supervise and train staff to ensure high performance and adherence to company standards. Oversee shift management, ensuring smooth transitions between shifts and maintaining adequate staffing levels. Develop and manage budgets, monitor expenses, and implement cost control measures. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as food preparation standards. Handle cash management duties, including POS operations and cash handling procedures. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and employee engagement. Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly to enhance guest satisfaction. Qualifications Proven experience in restaurant or hospitality management is essential. Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively. Experience in staff training and development is preferred. Proficiency in budgeting and financial management within a restaurant setting. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and health regulations is required. Knowledge of POS systems and cash handling processes is necessary. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
