Senior Product Manager, US Marketing

you will develop and drive marketing strategy for US product and partnership launches working with global marketing and downstream marketing channels to develop US ready marketing assets to support commercialization efforts.

You’ll plan, coordinate and integrate activities associated with new product and partnership launches including managing project sprint teams, messaging and claims matrices, direction on labeling changes & localizing global baseline materials for key functional areas.WHAT YOU"LL WORK ONBe the product expert for assigned products/partnerships, providing in-depth knowledge of product features, integration specifics, market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs.

Serve as messaging and claims/disclaimer expert codeveloping, localizing and revising claims matrices working with global marketing including product and clinical claims for HCP and Consumer that differentiate Abbott products and services.

Collaborate with key cross-functional partners (Consumer, HCP, Trade, Market Access, Partnerships, & Regulatory) to drive direction of marketing strategy to support go-to-market (GTM) launch plans for product/partnership launches.

Partner with Regulatory on indication and labeling change implications to new product/partnership launches communicating direction and business rules to channel leads.

Partner with Ad & Promo & Regulatory to identify and prioritize review of marketing materials to support launches.

Lead project sprint team meetings developing project charter, management presentations and managing launch execution.

Develop and manage project plan to meet deliverables, including cross-functional timelines, channel leads follow up and escalations to achieve launch timelines/objectives.

Key Success FactorsStrong influence management skills - effectively influences colleagues on marketing strategy and launch objectives across different functions.

Excellent presentation/communication skills—Lead launch teams and interface with senior management from cross functional groups. Use conflict resolution skills to achieve alignment and results.

Project management skills—ability to manage complex projects and programs. Ability to pull the appropriate level and functions together to support initiatives.

Analytical skills—detail oriented with ability to create messaging, claims, understand market models and therapy segments.

Required QualificationsBachelors Degree with at least 4-6 years related experience, with at least one year of experience in marketing or product management, or MBA with 1-3 years of related

experience.Preferred QualificationsBachelor’s degree with 6+ years related experience in marketing, product management, or MBA with 4+ years of related experience.

Product management/marketing experience in medical device.

Ability to articulate product benefits and communicate technical concepts/tradeoffs

Ability to lead project teams in a fast-paced changing environment

Self starter with desire to learn
