Work with corporate engagement relationship managers, internal campus partners/stakeholders, and corporate partners to apply a uniform and consistent approach to company-specific strategic planning. Drive the organizational strategic planning process and help steward achievement of strategic priorities to assist senior development leaders in setting revenue growth goals and priorities that align with the enterprise strategic priorities. Lead key strategic workstreams to strengthen the effectiveness of organization-wide processes and systems. Increase transparency and campus, partner, and stakeholder participation in the planning process to achieve broader corporate partnerships. Grow investments into Georgia Tech (GT) from corporate partnerships. Proactively seek new corporate partnership opportunities. Research potential partners, connect with and educate prospects, qualify leads, and schedule meetings before transitioning to relationship managers.Responsibilities
Provide project management to GT enterprise-wide strategic efforts related to company-specific planning.Serve as Program Lead stewarding effective delivery pertaining to organizational strategic plan.Survey campus partners/stakeholders and GT data sources to compose documents presenting a holistic picture of the current engagement of strategic partners.Manage major organizational initiatives and workstreams as required, which may include leading cross-functional teams to address emerging needs, designing and implementing new processes or systems, or leading and implementing organizational change.Catalog GT internal resources related to potential expansion of company-specific strategic partner engagement.Meet with corporate partners and prospects to conduct partner discovery conversations, uncover and generate new potential opportunities.Ensure all findings, documents, and plans created are entered into the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.Support strategic initiatives in pursuit of federal funding that requires corporate participation and documented Letters of Support.Perform relationship management for a small portfolio of key strategic external partnerships to further maturation.Perform other related duties as assigned.Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.Required Experience:
Two to five years job related experience.Preferred Qualifications
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.Preferred Educational Qualifications:
Advanced degree preferred in an engineering and/or business discipline.Preferred Experience:
Two or more years of university-industry collaboration experience.Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Knowledge:
Strong understanding and ability to analyze financial data in a university environment. Strong proficiency using Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel.Skills:
Excellent communication skills in written and verbal form. Demonstrated skills in collaboration in teams comprised of faculty, staff, and external partnerships preferred.Equal Employment Opportunity
