We have an exciting opportunity for a Human Resource Generalist to join the team!
The Human Resource Generalist will:
Serve as an initial point of contact for managers and employees for all HR matters.
Assist with day-to-day human resources support in the areas of talent acquisition, onboarding, compensation, benefits, training, employee recognition, employee relations, termination and exit, employment documentation, policies, procedures, laws, standards, and government regulations.
Apply in-depth understanding and provide guidance on the application of various labor/employment laws including Title VII, ADA, SCA, FMLA, PDA, FLSA, EPA, LMRA and other Federal, State and Local legislation/regulations to support customer base of management and employees.
Work with managers on all performance management and employee relations matters, with duties to include, but not limited to, communicating with managers on a regular basis to determine any performance management matters to be addressed and ensuring all time worked is being processed on a timely basis.
Provide exceptional internal and external customer service by providing timely, accurate information in response to HR-related inquiries and/or requests.
Routinely monitor general HR Office email box.
Completes monthly HR reports with all the monthly data required.
Provide updates to variety of systems, to include Smartsheet, Intranet, and other automated systems.
Assist with compensation analysis for new hires and promotions.
Review documentation for accuracy prior to submittals.
Work with associates and employees on benefit issues and supports annual open enrollment process.
Prepare draft responses to Texas Workforce Commission (TWC), Integrity Hotline, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and other agency claims, as required.
Engage in other HR activities such as training, retention, recruiting, and special projects.
Perform other duties as required.

Typically requires a bachelor's degree in a related area and 3 years of directly related work experience.
Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to successfully manage multiple tasks with multiple priorities in a high-volume, high-energy environment.
Versed to effectively communicate in writing via proper documentation, as appropriate, for the needs of the audience (internal and external entities) and possess the ability to understand and communicate the analysis results in written and oral form.
Must have excellent presentation and interpersonal skills in order to interface with all levels of management.
Must be detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy while multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
Must possess strong independent as well as collaborative problem-solving skills and the ability to perform duties with minimal direction.
Must maintain high level of discretion and confidentiality.
Preferences:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or Psychology.
Three or more years of HR experience in two or more functional areas; generalist experience which includes general business operations, recruitment, and benefits strongly preferred.
SPHR/PHR Certification.
Experience in Aerospace and/or Engineering Industry.
Ability to search Internet (internal and external) for policies, procedures, candidate sourcing, case rulings and employment law.
Advanced Microsoft (MS) Excel skills, strong MS Office skills, Smartsheet skills.
Strong PeopleSoft experience with emphasis on running reports and searching for data.
