Position Summary: Responsible for making repairs to and maintaining all piping systems (water, waste, medical gas, steam, eyewash stations, mixing valves, and pumping stations) throughout the facility. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Performs a variety of plumbing repairs, system maintenance, and provides technical support and advice for the maintenance department Manages the backflow prevention and cross connection inspection program Estimates cost for modification projects on the plumbing systems, new services, major repairs, and upgrades Understands heating hot water systems, hot and cold domestic water systems, storm water systems, irrigation systems, and steam systems Manages outages of piped utility systems Requires on-call rotation coverage; after hours work when needed. Pay: $25 - $29 Position Qualification: High School diploma or GED required. 10-15 years of Plumbing experience, Journeyman Certificate or CMC-A Licensed Master Plumber. TN State License Testing Backflow Prevention Devices preferred. Years of Experience can be related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
