Description & RequirementsManTech is seeking a skilled and innovative Quality Assurance Manager to work in its analytical laboratories located in Sunol, CA. The activities of the groups include isotopic, chemical and elemental analysis of materials on a production basis.Responsibilities: Maintain the current ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accreditation certificate for the Sunol facility and participate in helping the facility increase future scope expansions to this standard. Work with colleagues to improve documentation including internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that detail processes necessary to ensure product and process quality. Write, implement, and/or approve changes to controlled documents as necessary.Perform internal audits and lead coordination of ISO/IEC 17025:2017 or other regulatory audits of the Quality Management System. Coordinate annual quality inspections.Manage the Corrective and Preventive Action process to guide the organization on the path of continuous improvement.Maintain approved documents, training records, and logs in Document Control and ensure changes to the quality system documents adhere to procedure. Inform affected parties upon release of new documents.Provide appropriate training to ManTech personnel in critical aspects of quality assurance, internal procedures, and good practices.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in a scientific or technical field.Minimum 5 years of experience managing quality.Must have extensive knowledge of quality systems, particularly ISO/IEC 17025:2017.Knowledge of physical and chemical analytical techniques and methods.Must be familiar with and adhere to safe laboratory procedures.US Citizenship is requiredClearance Requirements:Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance - Clearance not required to startPreferred Qualifications:Creative, with excellent writing and communications skills and the ability to lead a team.Must have exceptional aptitude for details, including accurate record keeping.Detail oriented, organized, highly motivated; able to work independently.Be able to manage time effectively.Physical Requirements:Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.Frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.The projected compensation range for this position is $99,200.00-$164,600.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
