UX Research and Design Lead
General Summary & Scope• The UX Research and Design Lead will report to the Senior Manager, Digital User Experience within the eCommerce team.• This critical role focuses on creating user-centered designs for web, mobile web, and mobile applications.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including creative designers, business stakeholders, and development teams.• Provide mentorship and guidance to other UXA resources.• Serve as the voice of the customer through insights derived from research and analytics.• Transform business requirements and user needs into innovative user experiences.• Facilitate brainstorming sessions and workshops for UX direction.• Identify research needs and coordinate with the customer research team to execute studies.• Analyze research findings to refine design strategies.• Conduct competitive analyses and heuristic evaluations to enhance usability.• Evaluate usability and suggest improvements for new and existing features.• Collaborate with UX, creative, and development teams to create user experience solutions.• Maintain a deep understanding of web and app UX best practices.• Create presentations, user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and other documentation to communicate design recommendations.• Engage in regular design reviews with stakeholders to gather feedback.• Interact comfortably with executives at the highest levels of the company.• Resolve issues independently as they arise.• Manage multiple projects of varying sizes and complexities.• Lead projects without significant oversight and mentor other UXA resources.
