At Salt Lake City International Airport, ensuring reliable IT functioning is crucial to make sure passengers' travel plans stay on schedule. The Network Administrator plays an important role in the daily operations of the airport by prioritizing proactive measures to maintain uninterrupted network performance, ensuring seamless operations for travelers.
FLSA Status and Hours: This is a non-exempt full-time position. The role requires full-time hours, Monday through Friday 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM including on-call. Salary information will be provided if you are selected for an interview.
Position Overview: As a Network Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the network infrastructure. Your role involves configuring, maintaining, and monitoring network equipment and resolving technical issues promptly to minimize downtime. With a focus on proactive maintenance, you will play a key role in optimizing network performance and ensuring reliable connectivity within Salt Lake City International Airport.
Basic Requirements:
College diploma or university degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field is a plus.Aruba/Cisco/Fortinet certifications are preferred.1 year of experience working in a network support role.Experience with the following applications and devices: VPN, Cisco and Aruba network appliances; VMware Virtualization tools; Windows Server operating systems; Microsoft Office products; Adobe products; Active Directory 2012 and newer; Mitel IP Phones; Smartphone devices is a plus.Working knowledge of TCP/IP and Multicast technologies.Experience installing patch cords/cross connects and cabling additions preferred.PCI DSS Compliance certification preferred.ITIL Foundation is an advantage.Must be able to pass an airport background investigation, which includes a criminal history check.Must possess a valid Driver's License and be able to pass an airside driving test.Benefits:
